COLFAX FESTIVALS

The first Harvest Festival took place at Colfax Baptist Church's Ben Taylor Road facility. A few years later, we outgrew that space and moved the Harvest Festival to the Sierra Vista Community Center, where the church regularly meets on Sunday mornings.

 

Every Halloween, the businesses of Colfax stay open late so that children can trick or treat there. The Harvest Festival has become a popular safe environment for families to bring their children while they are downtown.

 

Several years ago, the church began sponsoring the Children's Easter Festival the Saturday before Easter. It takes place after the Colfax Lion's Club Egg Hunt, another great event for the community. 

Colfax Baptist Church is committed to the Colfax community. We want to give families an opportunity to experience the love of God and the love of their neighbors.

 

Many parents have expressed appreciation to us for providing a place to take their children where they can have fun and feel safe.

 

The vision for Summer Festival began after hearing of a similar event which takes place annually, in Marysville, Washington.
